Home Brew Recipe Kit for our version of the original Mike's Mild Ale. This kit is based on the original recipe kindly provided by Mike's Brewery
NZ's Oldest Craft Brewery, started in 1989. This beer is Mike's original and has been brewed since 1989. It has been consistently recognised as a standout beer winning a Silver at the Brewers Guild of New Zealand awards in 2004, Gold in 2005, Bronze 2006, Bronze 2007, Silver 2009 and the 2016 BGNZ Gold & Category Trophy.
It pours dark brown with a ruby hue when held to the light. Aromas of coffee, toffee and toast. The finish is silky smooth. The flavour is roasty toasty but not heavy and definitely not bitter.

IBU: 31 ABV: 4.0% OG: 1.040 FG: 1.010
All ingredients you will need are included in this recipe kit. Malted Grain, Hops, Yeast, Irish Moss and brew water additions. (Malt Extract for Extract Option). Kit includes brewing instructions.

Hops are all pre-measured for each addition and vac packed in foil bags to make your brew day easier. A combination of Pacific Gem, Green Bullet and Wakatu.
Yeast: Empire Ale M15 Yeast

- Extract with Partial Mash, Full 23L Batch. Comes with Liquid Malt Extract and a specialty grain pack to add additional flavour.
